From John’s archive of antique imagery comes a garden full of decoupage delights, from sweet berries to colorful carrots. Forage for mushrooms on trays, paperweights, and charms. Dig into decoupage turnips, beets, cabbage, and corn. Apples, pears, plums, and cherries appear, too, all expertly crafted by the artisans in our New York City studio.
These textiles have stories to tell. Our custom made pillows in John Derian for Pierre Frey’s Le Paravent Chinois fabric evoke 18th-century floral chinoiserie, while our antique rug cushions are one-of-a-kind, repurposed treasures. This new book, officially on sale September 23rd, is adapted from the John Derian Picture Book II. Over 700 stickers created with images from John’s collection of antique artworks.
Many of John’s new decoupage designs this season come from his collection of 19th-century seed company ephemera. In the mid-1880s, the US experienced a boom in small, independent seed companies.
